The Grapefruit Spritz

Grapefruit is a summer staple at vitruvi HQ—we use it to brighten up more grounding scents like Spruce or Eucalyptus. So, inspired by our beloved citrus, we we give you our twist on the drink of summer: the Grapefruit Aperol spritz. Sure, the original spritz shines on its own, but squeezing in a bit of fresh grapefruit juice adds a tart note that mixes well with the bitterness of Aperol and the sweetness of Prosecco. Here’s how it’s done.
Ingredients
- 1.5 ounces Aperol
- 3 ounces Prosecco
- 1 ounce fresh grapefruit juice
- 1 splash soda water
- 1 sprig rosemary
Instructions
- Mix the Aperol and grapefruit juice together and pour over a glass filled with ice.
- Add the soda water and Prosecco. Stir to combine.
- Garnish with the rosemary.
- Sip all summer long.
