On your first charge of your Move Diffuser, we recommend plugging the charging cord directly into the back of the diffuser. A full charge with your diffuser plugged directly into the wall will take about 1-2 hours (exact charging times may vary). You can also charge your Move Diffuser by plugging in the charging pad and placing the diffuser on top. This method is great for quick battery top-ups and continual use. Once your diffuser is fully charged, the four lights at the back will stop blinking.

The Move Diffuser has two run times: 4 hours and 8 hours. The 4-hour setting will run continuously. The 8-hour setting will run for 30 seconds and then turn off for 30 seconds, either until the water in the reservoir is low or the time period has ended. As part of an automatic safety feature, our diffusers turn off before the water reservoir is completely empty.

Yes. The Move Diffuser has 4 light settings: on, dim, candlelight, and off. You can adjust the light settings by clicking the light button at the back of the diffuser. You can also press and hold the light button to turn off all the lights.

The outside of the diffuser is made of high-quality matte metal. The inside reservoir is made from BPA-free plastic. Because the diffuser is ultrasonic and runs on vibrations instead of heat, there is no interaction between the water, plastic, and essential oils.

To clean the inside of your Move Diffuser, mix a tablespoon of white vinegar with water and let it sit in the reservoir for 30 minutes. Then rinse it out, and use a cotton swab to wipe the inside of the reservoir. This will clean out any residue left behind from the essential oils. We recommend giving your diffuser a deep clean every month.

To clean the outside of your Move Diffuser, simply use a damp cloth to wipe the metal.

Our pets are as unique as us. The first thing we suggest doing is checking with your vet—your animal may be more sensitive than others, so your vet will know best.

Stronger scents such as Lemon, Grapefruit, Peppermint, and Boost, should be used sparingly. If you would still like to diffuse one of these scents, I would suggest limiting the number of drops to approximately 1-5 drops.

Frankincense, Lavender, and Cedarwood are great options to diffuse around animals. We also suggest turning your diffuser off when your animals are home alone, just in case they do become agitated by the scent.

The best thing to do before using essential oils is to chat with your doctor.

In a diffuser, we recommend using small amounts of essential oils when pregnant (about 5 drops). When it comes to newborns, we recommend waiting 3 months before using essential oils. But your doctor will know best, as we all react differently.
Always opt for essential oils that are 100% pure, vegan, cruelty-free, and free from synthetic fragrance.

There may be a few reasons why your diffuser isn’t misting properly. Here are some ways to troubleshoot the issue.

First, give your diffuser a deep clean. As a part of a built-in feature to protect our diffusers, the unit won’t run if the ultrasonic plates are clogged with essential oils. Watch our video above for instructions on how to clean your diffuser.

Next, make sure the water is filled to just below the line inside the reservoir. If there is too little or too much water in the reservoir, the diffuser won’t turn on.

Ensure that the water is filled to just below the fill line to get a full time cycle. In addition, environmental factors—such as the humidity in your space and the type of water used—may affect the run time by about 15%. First, check if your Move Diffuser is charged. Once your diffuser is fully charged, the four lights at the back will stop blinking.

Next, ensure that the water is filled to just below the fill line. If the internal sensor notices that there is too little water in the reservoir, the diffuser will not turn on. Also, make sure that the Move Diffuser lid is sitting completely flush on the base.

Make sure you’re using the original power cord that came with your Move Diffuser. If you misplaced your power cord, don’t worry—we sell replacement parts here. We also suggest plugging your diffuser into a different outlet to ensure it’s not an issue with your power source.
