Q&A
- Currently using Boost oil but this probably applies to all your oils. Are they safe to use in the same room as animals? I'm mainly interested knowing about dogs and rabbits.
- Great question, Paul! We first suggest checking with your vet, as each animal may have a bit of a different reaction. We have found that most essential oils are perfectly okay to use around animals. Strong citrus essential oils such as Lemon, Grapefruit, Sweet Orange, Bergamot our Boost, Retreat Blends, should be used sparingly, as they are quite strong. If you would still like to diffuse one of these scents, we suggest limiting the number of drops to approximately 1-5 drops. With that said, Frankincense, Spruce, and our Sleep and Dusk Blends are great options to diffuse around animals. We also suggest turning your diffuser off when your animals are alone, just in case they do become agitated by the scent. We have dogs in our office that are not bothered by the oils at all. But as we mentioned, it's always a good idea to double check with your vet just to be safe!
