Photographer, world traveller, and vitruvi muse—Brit Gill is an incredibly inspired, kind soul with a seriously dreamy Instagram feed. Below, she sent us the deal on her daily essentials.

Beauty

I usually carry an arsenal of (somewhat) natural beauty products! I am in love with these products lately: Elate mascara, Multistick by Bite Beauty in Blondie, and Aesop Reverence Aromatherapy Hand Balm. For the most part, I am quite a stickler when it comes to natural products, but beauty is a place where I am only slowly coming around. It has been a long search to replace my beloved beauty products, and I always make sure the ingredients in my bag check out on the Environmental Working Group’s Skin Deep cosmetics database before I buy them. The site is awesome because you can evaluate the overall hazard of the products you are using on your skin.

Teeth

Pur gum. I am obsessed with having good breath! I usually have the motherload of gum stashed in my bag.

Creativity

I have been carrying this exact style of Moleskine notebook for over 15 years. I have been recording a personal anthology of to-do lists, musings, and inspirations since I can remember. I love the that one day I will be able to look back and peer into my past self. I have had views into my future and I can see myself writing a book one day, so I have been consciously documenting big moments and learnings of my life with the hopes to have it all come together in one place someday. And of course I need the right pen for those ideas to cross from soul to paper, and the Muji gel pen is where it’s at! It doesn’t bleed through the thin Moleskine paper, which is a major win. I also always have a photo-taking device, whether it is in the form of a phone, an old film camera, or an updated digital camera—I can’t leave home without one of the lot.

Health

Last but certainly not least is my defence shield! I am always carrying essential oils, especially when I travel. I love a nice blend of clove, lemon, cinnamon, Eucalyptus, and Rosemary oils as an amazing natural antibacterial and all around immune strengthener. I seriously feel like I am in my own protective bubble, immune to the world of germs, when I smell it on my skin.
